(WLD) Scholarship for Afghan females
Areas of Training
WLD Needs-Based Scholarship Program offers each successful applicant a three-month extensive training in one of the following areas:
- Information and Computer Technology
- English Language
- Office Management
- Healthcare skills
Number of scholarship:
1500 for four round.
Training location:
- kabul
- Herat
- Balkh
- Nangarhar
- kandahar
Required Document
- Birth Certificate or Tazkira
- Grade Transcript with average of above 70 percent
- Recommendation from school or university
- Essay outlining the career goals and desires
- Parent or guardian consent letter if the applicant is under age of 18
Training
Successful applicants will receive two hours of classroom training per day in one of the selected institutions in five target WLD provinces.
Requirements
- Are Afghan women and reside in one of the five target provinces;
- Have at least completed Grade 10 of schooling; and
- Demonstrate a strong academic record with a proven commitment to academic benchmarks.
